... I suppose she's sci-fi, 'cuz she is an android... though she is currently in the shop for repair and thus has her outer skin off, not to mention the absence of a right forearm and hand. Erm. Yes.
This was inspired by another piece, though I only had a small amount of time to see it and do not know the artist or the title of the work, so I could not help you if you wished to know the origins. However, this is original, or as original as an android in a shop for repairs can be. I will say that I had enormous amounts of fun in drawing this, since I had never bothered with minute details before and I have found that it is highly entertaining. I recommend it, even though the drawings take absolutely forever.
But enough with that. This drawing was done in... well, homeroom, lunch, and fourth period, plus a few hours at home, and was made with mechanical pencil. I apologize for smudges, I cleaned this up as best I could at the time.
Ooooo.... I am so looking at this in your sketchbook next time I see you. If it looks this good scanned into a computer, I wonder how it looks up close and personal. T-chan, you're getting soooooo much better.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
